Our Story

The Frame & Print Shop at University Place has been the Triangle’s destination for custom framing, art restoration, dry mounting and a place to find unique local art and UNC prints for 50 years. Owners Bob and Becky Woodruff bought the business in 2015 and are committed to continuing The Frame & Print Shop’s long-standing tradition of superb craftsmanship and local flavor in custom framing. In the fall of 2021, Becky & Bob also acquired the 40-year-old framing store, Framemakers, located in Timberlyne Village. Just recently they changed the name to The Frame & Print Shop North so we now have two convenient locations in Chapel Hill for our customers. We hope that you stop by to see us and see what’s new at our two convenient locations!
