Turning a New Leaf
Featuring the Art of the Chatham Artists Guild (CAG)

This fall, The Frame & Print Shop is honored to exhibit the art of The Chatham Artists Guild (CAG) as they prepare for their 31st Annual Studio Tour which takes place the first two weeks in December 2023. The Guild’s Annual Studio Tour is their signature event. It is one of the oldest in the State, a prototype for other area studio tours, and a highly respected art venue. This exhibit includes artwork from 25 of the guild’s artists. CAG’s mission is to raise awareness of the arts, create connections among artists, and educate and cultivate new artists and patrons in the community. For more information about CAG and their Annual Studio Tour please visit https://chathamartistsguild.org/studio-tour/

Exhibit runs September 28th – October 27th

Join us for an opening reception, September 28th, 6-8pm.

Now Open for our local artists!

Our mission is to assist our local artist community in reducing the cost of framing art, to promote education and awareness of art preservation techniques and to reduce our carbon footprint by reusing valuable framing materials that otherwise might end up in a landfill.

We also offer value line wholesale frame choices as an option to the used frames. In this way, we offer an affordable framing option for our local artists.

CLIENTS WE HAVE SERVED

Rave Review

I wish we could give 100 stars to The Frame & Print Shop of Chapel Hill, as they not only do truly beautiful work and offer professional, quality guidance, they also genuinely care about their clients and make you feel like your project is the most important piece they’ve worked on that day. Recently my husband I reached out to Becky with a rather urgent framing need – it was a huge job, 7 pieces in-total to commemorate the one-year anniversary of my husband’s heart transplant. We reached out by email one evening and Becky responded right away. Ash met with me at the store the next day and she was both knowledgeable and patient as she guided me through the selections, sensitive to our shipping needs as 6 of the 7 paintings were being shipped across the country. The finished works were simply beautiful and Becky’s team took such great care in protecting the pieces which made shipping even easier. Becky and Ash were an absolute joy to work with and their work is now hanging proudly in 7 homes across the US. Thank you to this dedicated team for their talent and heart.

Best wishes, Angela and Jerry Walter
